“That evening, we prayed for her, asking God to completely heal her.  I called her that night and she shared with me that the pain had disappeared and she was now able to feed her baby.   Three days later, I visited her again and found her healthy.  She was overjoyed for her healing.”

Astrid shares that over these last few years her own understanding of how much Jesus values women has been deepened.  "I see it in the way He entrusts me with His work and His people,”she shared. “It’s a great sign of His love and trust. That alone motivates me to keep going, no matter the challenges.”

The impact of this partnership is already starting to spread beyond this initial group of women, as they have returned to their communities with fresh energy to lead with authenticity and pass on what they have learnt to their teams.  “This course didn’t just impact us as individuals; it has given us the skills to bring transformation to our families, teams, and communities,” one woman leader shared.

As Sarah, one of the trainers shared, “Do all you can to give your time and training to any woman, for the impact and the outcome will be greater than you think.”

This is a testament to what can happen when marginalized women discover their identity in Christ. From breaking cultural barriers to experiencing miraculous healing and newfound hope, these women are now equipped to transform their communities for God’s glory.

“The stories I learnt during the DBS time have transformed my life. My behaviour and character has changed, even my family and friend have started to see something good in me. I am no longer the same!”

About 96% of the women in my country are Muslim, but through forming the DBS groups I have seen the desire the women have to get to know Jesus!

In the midst of physical & spiritual poverty there is always hope.

When other women join the group, she tells them, “If you want to join this group, the first thing you must do is accept Jesus!”

I have seen how I can demonstrate God's love through my generosity & teaching practical skills.

She has found that after she finishes treating the animals the women are in a good mood and she is able to bring them together and speak with them.
