Impact through Vocation

Sahel Region

Farah* is a veterinarian in the Sahel. Women bring their animals to her to be treated. She has found that after she finishes treating the animals the women are in a good mood and she is able to bring them together and speak with them. She has now started to share about Jesus with these women. One woman recently accepted Jesus and was baptized. Farah didn’t used to know that she could use her veterinarian skill as a way to also reach out to women and share about the love of Jesus with them, but after she was trained through the Women of Impact Disciple Making Training she discovered that she can continue doing her work in a way that also introduces women to Jesus.

Fatima and Nancy* have been using their tailoring skills to reach out to women that don’t know Jesus. They have been focussed on training women to sew, but didn’t share the gospel with them. After they went through the Women of Impact Disciple Making Training, they discovered ways to use their skills to also share the gospel with the women and they have seen it is working. They are thanking God for this and for a few women that have been baptized.
