Our vision is to see women across Africa holistically empowered and living as vibrant followers of Jesus.
We desire to see vulnerable and marginalized women transformed spiritually and physically, that they are no longer multiplying the cycle of poverty and oppression, but living as vibrant followers of Jesus who are impacting their community.
As in most parts of the underdeveloped world, the life of a woman is not easy and Africa is no exception. The social value of women is low, they are unnoticed by their own culture and many do not have rights. They disproportionately suffer the consequences of chronic underdevelopment that leads to illiteracy and early marriages. When widowed, they face many obstacles in caring for their children, and are often forced into the sex trade and other forms of slavery.
Despite the ongoing challenges, we have seen that when a woman is holistically empowered to know her identity in Jesus, and that she has value, skills and abilities, she is able to bring great impact to the community around her.
