A Purposeful Partnership, Empowering Women to Bloom

Earlier this year, a meaningful partnership formed between Women of Impact Africa and Purple Tree Coaching and Consulting, offering women leaders a chance to rediscover their purpose and gain new insights into their unique strengths. It started when the leader of Women of Impact Africa took the Purpose Journey course. “I experienced so much personal transformation,” she shared. “I was reminded of how God has wired me, and now confidently lead out of my God-given strengths & values.”
Her profound personal transformation inspired her to bring the same experience to her core team of women leaders, who work tirelessly to transform lives and communities across the continent. For over one week in Zambia, the women came together for a reenergizing ‘Purpose Journey’ experience.
Building Confidence Through Self-Discovery
The sessions combined worship, fellowship, and hands-on learning, focusing on topics like core values, personality traits, spiritual gifts, and leadership strengths. As Jacky, Purple Tree coach, guided the women through these exercises, they began to uncover deep insights about themselves. One woman shared, “I learned why I behave the way I do and how to align my personality with God’s purpose. It taught me that I cannot give what I don’t have, so I must allow God to fill me first.”
Another described the process as life-changing, saying, “It was like a healing therapy. We learned to embrace our unique wiring and see how God uses our differences to help us bloom and bear fruit.”
Refuelling for Ministry
The sessions were very timely for many leaders who were feeling drained and overwhelmed by the demands of ministry and community work. As one woman explained, “This journey gave us the chance to step aside, refresh, and reignite our spirits. It allowed us to refocus on our calling with renewed strength and vision.”
Jacky’s spirit-led coaching also inspired leaders to think more deeply about their leadership roles and impact. One leader reflected, “I now appreciate who I am and the gifts God has given me. I feel ready to lead my team with confidence and purpose.”
The impact of this partnership is already starting to spread beyond this initial group of women, as they have returned to their communities with fresh energy to lead with authenticity and pass on what they have learnt to their teams. “This course didn’t just impact us as individuals; it has given us the skills to bring transformation to our families, teams, and communities,” one woman leader shared.
Expanding the Vision
Women of Impact Africa dreams to see many more women leaders across Africa experience the same equipping & transformation as this first group did. By God’s grace, women leaders from North & West Africa will also have the opportunity gather together for their own time of retreat, refuelling and experiencing the Purpose Journey. Jacky’s heart is also to empower as many women as possible, creating a network of confident, purpose-driven leaders who will continue to make an impact across the continent and beyond.
